SUMMARY:Byworth & Sheepdowns Walk - 2.95 Miles
DESCRIPTION:Meeting in the main Petworth Town Centre Car Park at 9.15am for
  a 9.30am prompt start we will head over to the Sheepdowns where we will he
 ad down some steep steps and up over the Sheepdowns where we may encounter 
 horses enroute. Approx. a 2.95 mile route.\nWe will then venture up through
  a wooded part before heading over through some higher grassed areas on the
  pathway which will take us across a main road down into another field whic
 h again may have horses in (so possibly not a walk with dogs if they are un
 comfortable with horses) where we walk into Byworth and make our way down t
 o a stream and back up into Petworth before heading back to the start.\nThe
 re are some inclines and declines on this route and although this is on pat
 hways sometimes there is a section that can be a little overgrown at times 
 so please be aware of this.\nLots of beautiful views of the downs\, over Pe
 tworth and beyond can be seen on this route.\nIf you bring your dog on this
  route then you are responsible to keep under control with any livestock an
 d horses we may pass and bearing in mind we are coming into the warmer mont
 hs there is not a lot of shade on this walk so it may be advisable to leave
  at home.\nAs before you are responsible for your own health and safety. £
